For example, the Wanstor control centre sends synthetic transactions that imitate a person using their typical day to day applications i.e. Outlook, Word, Internet etc. The monitoring server collects information about the amount of time taken to perform tasks like opening an email, accessing a web page and provides performance comparisons against recommended timeframes.
